Get ready to spice up dinner time! These stuffed chicken breasts are packed with creamy, cheesy goodness and sauced with our spicy Habanero BBQ Sauce.
If you are a fan of Buffalo chicken dip then this recipe is for you!! It’s just as easy to make and even easier to eat. Add a side salad, fries, or any grilled veggies for a delicious dinner or meal prepped lunch.
Yields: 1 Serving
200g chicken breast
30g (2 tbsp) cream cheese
30g (2 tbsp) shredded cheese
15ml (1 tbsp) Habanero BBQ Sauce
10g (2 tsp) red onion
10ml (2 tsp) olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 425F
Butterfly chicken breast in half and place on a baking sheet
In a small sauce pan on low heat, add olive oil with red onion to soften
Add in cream cheese, shredded cheese and stir until softened
Take mixture and distribute into both chicken breasts
Fold over the top of the butterflied chicken breast and secure with toothpicks to keep it closed while cooking
Brush BBQ sauce on top of stuffed chicken breast and season with salt and pepper
Place prepared chicken into the oven for 40-45 minutes or until chicken is cooked throughout
